World Congress of Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy - 2007

The European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) has the pleasure of hosting the fifth World Congress of Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy in 2007.

EABCT has chosen the beautiful city of Barcelona to host the 2007 Congress. This will give delegates an opportunity to visit one of the most popular cities in the world. The Congress venue will be at the recently opened Forum which is one of Europe's most modern and largest Congress Centres. Located on the coast within easy distance from Barcelona's city centre this will provide a wonderful setting for both our scientific and social activities.

The WCBCT2007 will be combined with the EABCT Annual Congress and will be the first time in 12 years that the World Congress has returned to Europe. Over the years EABCT Congresses have become well known for both their high standard of scientific presentations and for their friendliness. They regularly attract over 1000 participants from the 39 member associations covering 29 European countries.The opportunity to welcome delegates from the other umbrella associations that make up the world cognitive and behaviour therapy community (AABT in North America, ALAMOC in South America, AACBT in Australia, Asia coordinated by the JABT, Africa coordinated by SAABT and IACP) will guarantee the success of the Congress as a world event.
